Our Mission

Understanding Through Experience

We understand how deeply a cancer diagnosis can change life. Every woman's treatment journey is different, bringing physical changes like hair loss, surgery recovery, lymphoedema, or weight fluctuations — alongside emotional impacts like overwhelm and loss of confidence.

At Styling After Cancer, we help women navigate these changes with compassionate, practical support. Styling isn't about vanity — it's about reducing overwhelm and restoring self-belief during a time when even small decisions can feel impossible.

As a social enterprise, we're committed to growing our team by employing women who have experienced cancer themselves, creating a community built on empathy, strength, and shared experience.

About the Founder

Meet Zoë

Zoë knows first-hand the physical and emotional challenges of cancer treatment. She lost her hair, underwent surgery, and managed ongoing side effects — all while being made redundant from a role she had held for 19 years.

Weakened, bald, and dazed from treatment, she began searching for ways to restore her self-esteem and move forward. Living rurally, she couldn't easily access in-person wellbeing workshops in city locations, particularly during treatment. She noticed this was a significant gap in recovery programmes.

Determined to create the support she wished she'd had, Zoë trained in personal styling with the Melissa Murrell Styling Academy to work alongside charities on their wellbeing programmes, offering an accessible online solution for women who couldn't reach city-based services.
What started as filling a gap grew into Styling After Cancer — a service dedicated to helping women rebuild confidence during and after treatment, wherever they are.

Drawing on her background as an executive coach, Zoë combines lived experience, styling expertise, and deep empathy. She works closely with clients to help them feel comfortable in their own skin — whether that means rediscovering everyday style, preparing to return to work, or simply reclaiming a sense of self.

Alongside her one-to-one online sessions, Zoë partners with charities and organisations to extend styling and coaching support to women recovering from cancer.

Kind Words

I had no energy for shopping after cancer treatment. I just wanted someone to tell me what would look good on me and then for it to magically appear. Styling After Cancer made this happen and it was wonderful to receive my personalised capsule wardrobe.
